Sailed at Lancing from 6 til 7:30pm this evening. Still very windy, though probably not as much as at lunchtime. Rigged up the 3.0m again, and it was still fully powered up. Easy launch no shoredump, waist deep water and good clean lines with groomed flat bits in between. Two of us out and wave riding was the order of the day. Head high sets peeling right, plenty of power (too much) on the wave face. Actually my crash lid was being blown off by the wind coming up the wave face, just the strap holding it on!! Some epic down the line. Wind eased off a bit, but was still gusting up to full strength. Enjoyed the occasional lull to give the arms a rest. Finally snapped the webbing off my Da Kine Nexus (2nd snapped in two weeks!!). Sailed in half mile no harness. The End. Sore arms. Good day.
